Robert Lang, founder and president of Kensington Communications, is an internationally recognized, award-winning documentary and interactive media producer and director with over 25 years of production experience. He recently completed the 20-part City Sonic multiplatform film series which premiered at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival (citysonic.tv); the 3-part Gemini Award-winning series Diamond Road and its acclaimed interactive documentary, Diamond Road Online (diamondroad.tv); 3 seasons of 72 Hours: True Crime, a doc drama series for CBC and TLC, his second foray into the crime genre after five seasons as Co-Producer, Co-Creator and Director of the groundbreaking, multi-Gemini award-winning series, Exhibit A: Secrets of Forensic Science. Lang was the Executive Producer and one of the directors of the acclaimed four-part television series The Sacred Balance with David Suzuki for CBC and PBS, based on the best-selling book by renowned geneticist and environmentalist, Dr. David Suzuki. He has also produced and directed over 30 one-off documentaries that have won many awards worldwide. He is currently Producer of the feature documentary, Raw Opium, for TVOntario, ZDF Arte and SBS and Executive Producer of the 6-part TV and interactive series, Museum Discoveries, for History TV.
